Mama Chef (Santa Clara, CA)

Went to Mama Chef for some authentic Taiwan-style food.  (Note: This is the spot where Mama Chen used to be -- it is not a coincidence that these two restaurants are spelled almost identically, but that is a story for another time.)

Shanghai Bistro (Millbrae, CA)

Found another good Shanghainese place in the Bay Area.  The soup dumplings (小笼包) are worth ordering.  The spicy wontons (红油炒手) were just so-so.
