Went to this restaurant called Liang's Village Cuisine (梁妈妈家) in Cupertino -- this noodle / snack place quickly became a new favorite. The cold noodles (凉面) served in peanut sauce deserve special mention.

Went to Xanh (modern Vietnamese) this weekend to throw a surprise birthday dinner for a friend (and also to welcome his wife who just moved from halfway around the world). Would recommend this place to anyone who happens to be in the area!
